Role and Responsibility :
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and/or develop core cellular technologies that solve everyday problems for customers using iPhone, iPad, Watch and other wireless product lines.
- Work across layers on groundbreaking cellular technologies, including SIM, NAS, AS and iOS interfaces, to come up with the best possible solution for any given problem.
- Utilize at least 3-8 years of hands-on experience in cellular system analysis and system debugging role to help drive innovation in the field.
- Use your experience in LTE/5G NR PHY layer/RF to contribute to the team's efforts. Good understanding of 3GPP/ETSI standards on L1/L2/L3 is desirable.
- Have a strong understanding of SOC system architecture and System-On-Chip (SOC) Pre-Silicon & Post-silicon SW bring-up, SW validation, and debugging with JTAG or lldb, as well as analyzing coredumps.
- Use your strong software engineering skills, including design, programming (using C, C++), scripting (Python preferred, Perl), and debugging, to develop high-quality software.
- Have a good understanding of any RAT protocol layers.
- Demonstrate excellent debugging skills and a laser-focus on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams.
- Be obsessively passionate and inquisitive, seeking to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.
- Impact iPhone user experience worldwide by contributing to the development of groundbreaking cellular technologies.
Skills & Qualification :
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of experience in system-level crash debugging and development role.
